In today’s property market getting the right finance package locked into place well before exchange of contracts is paramount and it is the most important piece of Jigsaw’s exciting projects’ programme, progressing right through to a profitable sale and completion. The same principle applies for new builds or refurbishment of any type of residential or commercial property.
The funding is just as important as finding the right property in the right location as, without the funding, nothing can progress and the opportunity could be lost forever.
Wherever possible, Jigsaw will initially use its own resources to complete a deal, although we can where appropriate utilise a diverse variety of funding options and tools available to us. The choice of funding depends on the type, size and possible complexity of the deals themselves.
Funding Options
Jigsaw have funding options available from numerous areas including private investors and joint venture partners through to Short Term Specialist Lenders and, of course, the more traditional High Street Banks which seem to be joining the party once again. This shows a healthy confidence in lending as all sectors are necessary to make investing in property a success.
A lot depends on timing and, as much as possible, planning as far ahead as you can, but some opportunities often leave you little time to do this, hence the saying ‘time is money’ is very true in many cases.
We aim to choose the correct finance route at the correct time for the correct project and it is always chosen to match the deal – we understand and respect each part of the property process and this enables us to help unravel the puzzle.
